With a diverse background in event management, music and media management, nutrition and yoga, Joana brings a unique perspective to her practice. Having lived abroad for many years, the call of Portugal eventually spoke louder and luckily for us, she answered. Today, she is one of our most popular instructors at Libra.

Since discovering her love for Pilates, Joana has dedicated herself to learning from the very best and continually refining her knowledge and practice. Growing up as an acrobatic gymnast, her connection to movement is unmatched and deeply ingrained. You’ll often find her striking crazy acrobatic poses in our garden - moments that always leave us wondering what on earth our neighbours must think of us! 🤣

A true chatterbox, lover of good coffee and fuelled by movement, Joana is rarely still. When she’s not at Libra, she’s usually on her bicycle or immersed in some form of physical activity. Her classes are dynamic, engaging and thoughtfully designed, she is deeply committed to her students and to constantly improving her skills as an instructor.

We are truly happy to have her as part of the Libra tribe 💛
